How does the 50/50 escrow payment work?

When placing an order, you deposit 50% into escrow. That first portion is transferred to the writer only after they complete the work and you approve photos of the pages. The second 50% is released after the courier delivers the notebook to you.

What happens if the handwriting does not match the profile sample?

If the submitted writing differs from the samples shown on the writer profile or fails to follow your instructions, you can ask for corrections or raise a dispute. The admin team reviews the submission and issues a refund if the work does not meet agreed terms.

How does courier shipping work?

After you approve the sample photos, the writer packages the assignment and books shipment through India Post Speed Post, Blue Dart, or Delhivery. You receive the courier tracking number to track transit directly to your hostel or residence.

Can I get an urgent assignment completed in 24 to 48 hours?

Yes. You can filter writers by response speed or choose a writer based in your city for faster transit.

How do I apply to become a writer?

Students with legible handwriting can register through the writer onboarding page. You submit your profile details, upload clear photos of your handwriting samples, set your rate per page, and receive order requests directly.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AssignMate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. This platform is a marketplace for academic writing services. Getting writing assistance is the student's personal decision; AssignMate only connects students with independent writers. Students are responsible for following their own college or university rules, and AssignMate is not responsible for any violation of institutional policies.

2. Our Role

AssignMate is an introductory and payment-protection platform. We do not employ writers or write assignments ourselves. We connect verified writers with students, collect and hold payments safely on the student's behalf, and release money to the writer only at the right stages of an order. All work is produced by independent writers, who are solely responsible for the content they deliver.

3. Orders, Payment Protection & Payouts

When you place an order, the writer and student first discuss the details, usually over WhatsApp. The writer then sends a final quote that includes the writing amount, any material costs, the delivery charge, and a small AssignMate platform fee added to your order. Once the student accepts and pays the full amount, the money is held safely by AssignMate.

The writer receives the first 50% of their payout only after you confirm the completed work over WhatsApp (for example, a video of every page).
The remaining amount is released after the order is delivered and confirmed.
Delivery is arranged and paid separately at the time of shipping (for example, by courier).
You can cancel an order free of charge any time before you pay. Once a payment is made, problems are handled through our dispute and refund process.

4. Fees

A small AssignMate platform fee is added to your order to cover the safe payment and marketplace service. Writers receive their payout after an order is completed, subject to the terms in Section 3. We do not state any hidden or additional charges beyond what is shown in the final quote and at checkout.

5. Delivery

Delivery is arranged after the writing work is completed and paid for. Depending on the location, the parcel may be sent by courier or local delivery service. The delivery charge is paid separately at shipping time and is not part of the writing cost. AssignMate helps facilitate the shipping but is not a courier company.

6. Disputes & Refunds

If an order is cancelled before payment, no amount is charged. If a problem arises after payment (for example, the work was not delivered or was not as agreed), you may report it and the writer's payout is paused while our team reviews it. If we determine a refund is appropriate, the eligible amount is returned to your original payment method through our payment provider. See our Refund Policy for full details.

7. User Conduct

Academic Integrity: Do not use this platform to submit work that deceptively violates your institution's honor code.
Respectful Communication: All chats and negotiations must remain professional. Harassment, abuse, or threats result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.
Truthful Representation: Writers must provide accurate handwriting samples, qualifications, and details during verification.
No Fraud: Any attempt to defraud another user results in a permanent ban.

8. Limitation of Liability

AssignMate shall not be held liable for the quality, accuracy, or academic outcome of the work produced by independent writers. We make our best effort to verify writers and protect payments, but final quality assurance and academic decisions are the responsibility of the student.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of AssignMate after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
